Malice is a vice where a person is calculating how to hurt another fellow human. 
Usually they are targeting to hurt the person somewhere where it really hurts, an important aspect of life.

They are doing this consciously, so it means they are aware of this.

Malice also represents the lack of compassion, understanding and not being able to see what consequences their actions will have on the life of the other person, but also for themselves.
Malice also represents somebody finding joy in others suffering.
