Sattva on the other hand is the guna that represents protection, preservation and its energy is the closest to God.
There are three planets that have sattvic qualities: Sun, Moon and Jupiter.

A person who leads a tamasic lifestyle it’s a person whose life is characterized by:
- Persistent negative emotions of some sort
- Dissatisfaction
- Laziness or inactivity (both physical and mental)
- Procrastination
- Finding excuses for why something is not going well in their lives (compared to active efforts to change permanently those things that are negative)
