People who have this vice, believe that they are either powerless compared to the problem in question, or that the problem that needs to be resolved is much bigger compared to their abilities.

This makes them have the same problem in life for a very long time. This problem over time grows more and more and becomes more difficult to resolve as more karma becomes attached to it.
